Response:
- Scientists get rewarded for overthrowing currently accepted ideas (if
they can do so with evidence) and for proposing new theories that lead
to new research. Any bias from material gain would be
against the
accepted theory of evolution.
- Many research scientists could make more money in industry. They do
science because they enjoy it.
- The complaint applies equally to anti-evolutionists.
